EZ Dried Flower Wreath - Recipe by Jill Slater

Materials:

EZ Dried Flower Wreath
  • 12 stems fresh-cut purple statice
  • 12 stems fresh-cut red spray roses
  • 8-inch double wire wreath form
  • 5 yards red-checked 2-inch wide ribbon
  • 4 yards solid red 1/4-inch ribbon
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • Floral clippers and scissors
Directions:
Step 1 - Cover the wreath form with 2-inch wide ribbon. To start, wrap one end of ribbon over itself and continue wrapping form until covered. Cut ribbon and adhere end with hot glue.

Step 2 - Make ribbon hanger by doubling the remaining ribbon. Then place ribbon over the wreath form and pull loose ends thru loop. Lastly, tie the ends into a pretty bow for hanging.

Step 3 - Cut 6, 14-inch lengths of narrow ribbon. Tie onto wreath form, spacing ribbons evenly.

Step 4 - Cut flowers to 4-inch lengths and gather into groups of 4 stems each.

Step 5 - With narrow ribbon already tied onto the wreath, tie the groups onto wreath form, alternating flower varieties.

Note - The wreath will dry in place and last for many seasons.
