Patriotic Saint Patty's - Recipe by Jill Slater

Materials:

Patriotic Saint Patty's
  • 9 x 13 Baking dish
  • 3 Bricks floral foam
  • Standard carnations:
    • 18 stems of each color- orange & green
    • 12 stems white
  • Floral clippers, knife, scissors and floral preservative/food
Directions: (The Irish flag features stripes of green, white and orange arranged from left to right; in that order.)
Step 1 - Fill all containers with water that has been treated with floral preservative/food.

Step 2 - Cut the stems off the flowers and float the blossoms in the containers.

Step 3 - Top off the foam squares with the other soaked brick of floral foam. Cut this top piece of foam so that it rises about 1-inch above the rim of the bowl and make sure it fits snugly in the bowl.
